Meet "Jad"

I didn't see my cousins living in Stouffville for more than 3 weeks so they called me and we agreed to meet for dinner at Yorkdale mall, so took the subway and did a tour there waiting for them, but they had an emergency and were forced to be late so we decided to go outside the mall and have dinner somewhere in the area..

They arrived and they had their friend Jad with them, he's visiting from Lebanon for a month, but it's not his first time visiting Canada, as his brother lives here with his family and he is visiting this time for the delivery and baptism of his nephew..

So we went for all you can eat Sushi at Tatami And started filling the order list with no mercy, the four of us were starving and we all have a huge appetite so couldn't wait for the food to be served.. But hey.. That's why edamame & miso soup are here for..

Chatting with Jad, I was impressed with how much he has seen from Toronto during his visits and how much he knows about the city and different places especially bars & restaurants as he works in the hospitality field and he knows his thing..

After enjoying the food, the dinner didn't end up so well as I found a piece of broken glass inside my ice cream.. And I know that these mistakes can happen anywhere and I was lucky that I didn't swallow it or I didn't break a tooth.. So we called the manager, we complained but they didn't really care, and they offered us a 10% discount..

After we left, they drove all the way to downtown to drop me home, and I wished Jad a good stay and hoped to see him again before he goes back to Lebanon..

And told the guys: Tatami.. No more..
